If the plan were to really strengthen the centre spots and then get the lad in as a back up fullback or winger, I could go with that. He’s definitely got some talent. The loss of French would leave us light should anything happen to Field.

Where’s Hanley at these days? Any chance he has developed enough to be a backup full back for next year?

I’d take Bolt as a utility back but certainly not as someone who was going to replace French.
