Just had a quick look at the stats for the props on Saturday. Mossop's stats look pretty good (just 2 errors) and Lima made most meters.
Jeff Lima Paul Prescott Andy Coley Lee Mossop
Metres 108 65 73 97
Carries 13 12 12 13
Tackles 32 30 24 32
Tackle bust 1 0 0 2
Missed tackles 3 2 3 0
Penalties 2 2 0 0
Errors 0 0 0 2
And if proof were needed at how poor Joel was on Saturday here it is:
Joel Tomkins Liam Farrell Ryan Hoffman Harrison hanson
Metres 47 72 100 42
Carries 9 11 16 6
Tackles 22 40 37 26
Tackle bust 0 1 1 0
Missed tackles 0 2 2 3
Penalties 2 1 0 0
Errors 1 0 1 1

| Lima and the Hoff both did very well. Two great purchases.
Don't judge prekky and Joel on one game. We all slagged Joel off after the Leeds play off game at the DW. But he had a great game two weeks later( and won us the game IMO).

| Very impressive stats from Lima. I must say I thought he was pretty quiet to be honest. But it shows what I know. Greats numbers from Hoffman as well, but I thought as much seeing as he was our best player IMO.
Thank for putting these stats together.
Very, very poor from Joel.

| After the pre season hype I think people were expecting Lima to run through the whole of Saints team which why a few people may of thought he seemed quiet. Them stats show he did well though and Mossop was good and will get better the more he plays after being out for a while last season. Prescott was poor though and he will be the first man out imo when Fielden is back.

Just shows that there's room for improvement. I'd venture that in Joel's case this could be an improvement in attitude as he clearly has the ability.
If Lima is banned this week, Prescott will have to improve as he's sure to play against Bradford.

| Joel better watch out if he does not improve Farrell will have his place. his stats are the most impressive!
40 tackles from the bench is brilliant.

| Considering we had virtually no ball, those stats for Ryan Hoffman & Jeff Lima are excellent. Lee Mossop and Liam Farrell looked good too. Just need Mossop to watch his ball retention. A couple of loose carries too many.
Not posted on here, but Martin Gleeson did a lot of work going forward. Top effort. George Carmont had to make 29 tackles during that match, must have targetted him. Shenton beat him once in the first half, but that aside Carmont had a good game for me.
Joel Tomkins, Paul Prescott and Thomas Leuluai can do a lot better IMO.

| I wouldn't normally post the following but I noticed it on the Saint's board. All I can say is wow.
Quote McClennan="McClennan"Roby's stats from Saturday.
48 carries for 251m
45 tackles.
'"
Obviously the insanely quick ptb aided him greatly, but still a fantastic effort.

That's what stood out for me from those stats, although he did get more game time than you'd expect with Lockers playing at 6.
Another brilliant effort from him though.

| Liam Farrell has amazing stats in defence every game despite not playing the full 80.

| Awesome stats for a sub, Farrell starting with Hoffman for Bradford surely, Joel on bench.
Also I'd play Amos at 1 and Sam at 6, Tommys kicking isn't as good as Sams IMO and we can't rely on Deacon, he goes off with an injury every game, play him from the bench only if he's fit enough.
1 - Roberts
2 - Goulding
3 - Gleeson
4 - Carmont
5 - Charnley
6 - Sam
7 - Leuluai
8 - Fielden
9 - McIllorum
10 - Coley
11 - Hoffman
12 - Farrell
13 - O'Loughlin
14 - Lima
15 - Joel/Deacon
16 - Hansen/Deacon
17 - Mossop

That's a good shout.
Get it into Joel's head early on that especially in the position he plays in, ill-discipline means you lose your starting place.
