Can some oe settle a arguement for us,when did tommy do his body slam great dive take you pick after a game few years back? everyone held there breathe as he dove????

Batley away 2004, the year we finished top of the league thanks to Oli Wilkes scoring in the last minute with no little help from Sean Richardson.

I thought it was Batley away or was it the GF?

As Leyther Matt says, it was indeed batley away. Good job at 96 he didn't repeat those antics! Ha ha. What a great memory and what a nice ovation for my grandad today. Our family were in attendance today and it was humbling to see.

Remember that whole stand at Batley taking a deep breath as he dove over seemingly in slow motion. Remember after we won the Grand Final and Promotion there was somebody keeping tight hold of his arm at all times









Great to see the man that has done more for Leigh RLFC than anyone else in the club's history being a part of Heritage day.

Think it was at the NRC Final when we beat HKR 42 14. But if memory serves it was into the corner ie the corner at the opposite side of the main stand' at the standing up end..
