I only get over to the UK a coupe of times a year and try to time it so that I can watch the bulls. Over the past few years I have watched them on sky and listened to them on BCB radio does anyone know if there is to be any coverage for this coming years games?

BCB covered the friendly at Cas, so I assume they're doing it for the season.

sky are showing the blackpool bashup game v Halifax, the bulls official site fixtures page shows which are on sky - ie that one in its singular glory, but that might change if things get tasty towards the business end, eg penultimate game v Leigh at home or Fax away the following week. Then theres the super8s themselves. I would have thought that some of the top games in the champs would be far more watchable than the Croatian Under 21s tiddlywinks qualifying rounds that Sky fill their schedules with, but I guess they can do the cost benefit appraisal better than I can.

BCB will surely, as HC says, be doing most games, the commentary used to be totally annoying but improved to OK by relegation time, lets hope they haven't suffered the same fate for this season.

I'm someone who only really likes Rugby League and the odd bit of cricket. So as soon as we got relegated I switched off sky sports almost ceremoniously. I wonder how many people in Bradford don't have a subscription anymore because there's not much point.

Considered it. Might get there yet cos the number of games I watched last year fell off a cliff, at which point all TV goes. I'd be happy with a Premier Sports web subscription and nothing else.

I love BCB though. Adds a bit of spice if you're not sure if the commentators are going to rush the pitch and attack the referee.

I hope they still put video highlights up on the championship website, otherwise there will literally be no outlet for us to watch the tries from our own games and also everyone else from our league. Which in this day and age would be a complete embarrassment.

Seems daft that Championship games aren't being picked up by anyone at all.

Did they actually outbid premier for the standalone championship rights? Thought RFL sold rights as one package with SL and championship games all one lot.

I think that's true. IIRC Premier stopped showing it mid season in protest at not getting a chance.

Premier Sports never got a chance to outbid Sky, and they were quite shoddily treated in the whole thing - although IIRC they never paid a penny for the Championship rights, just covered broadcast costs which shows how much demand there was in the past.

I found the point about people cancelling in Bradford interesting - OK probably a bit tounge in cheek, but it's entirely possible we might be on Sky more in 2015 than 2014 - or at least as much. Last year we were on absolutely bare minimum as far as I can remember - 1 x Home (Hull KR?), 1 x Away (Wakey), 1 x Magic (as does everyone) 1 x Catalans away (as does everyone).

We're on once for the Championship bash - we'd only have to feature three times in the super 8s or - (dare to dream) the million pound game to equal that. Not beyond the realms of possibility. I'd bet anything that if we met Wakey in the Super 8s, Sky will put that on.
