The top two meet in Toulouse this weekend in a game wich can confirm the French as the league leaders after the first round of games. A victory at home will also suit the challengers below York and points difference could be crucial too. League placings before the last seven shoot-out will determine te fixture pattern for the remaining games.
Toulouse should not be complacent as York will be coming to get a result, it should be a cracker.
First 25 minutes York took the game to TO13 but poor handling plus solid defence stopped them. TO also had decent attacks but poor handling let them down also. This made for exciting rugby. Seb produced a bit of class to score on 29 and sloppy defending let york run 10m through unappsed to equalise. MOM Curran scored on the hooter and this was decisive.
Second half TO got it together and dominated as York tired and had no answer to the sueprior fitness and class of TO. The ref was top class and let it flow.
