Looks like the 69 bus from Interchange is my best bet according to the Sports Ground website, does anybody know how near the bus drops off to the ground ?
Are there any other public transport options either from the city centre or Meadowhall ?

69 is the best public transport option, it's by far the most frequent. Get off when the bus turns off Bawtry Road into St Lawrence Road https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.40969 ... ,16z?hl=en, it's then about 1/4 mile along Bawtry Road to the ground in the Hallam Uni Sports Park.
