just like to say well done to Brett for a great display against a strong french national side on saturday - still a great player a servant to your club so give him a great benefit year in 2011
I was talking to Brett on a train on Friday when he was making his way to Swansea for the Wales game. I must say he was a thoroughly decent man and had a great sense of humour. He seemed very proud to be pulling on the Irish jersey and spoke well of the Barrow club. Good luck to him in the remaining European cup campaign and for any further seasons with Barrow.
yes,he looks menacing at first sight and I certainly wouldn't want to bump into him on a dark night but he is really one of THE nice guys in RL
very impressed when i've had the privelege of meeting him on his visits to france and he's great with the kids as well as well as the 'big kids' like myself
a real credit to the game and good luck to him next year in his benefit season
i'm sure he played 80 minutes against the french and looked totally knackered but still took the trouble to sign programmes,do the photos and offer his gear (including undies !) to the fans - top man !
