I think that a few of the Viking Stronghold forms should be sent to schools and passed round the town -- with the Weekly News, for instance.

As an outsider it seems a good idea, however people may hold back in the first year to see how the team performs. Have a good first year and you could get the 7000 in year 2, but, have a bad year and 7000 may be too much to expect. Unfortunately you need the money in the first year to have a good year. This is one of the problems for any team going into SL, the other is most of the top players are contracted for several years and not available.

In effect we are saying to our fans... pay £17 a month to come and watch the team plus the other added extras you get.. then if you don't like what you see you can cancel without any hassle.



The problem trying to get 7,000 people to sign up to a season ticket is the fact that once you've paid your money you're tied for the whole season.

Printing forms in the Weekly News / World / even Liverpool Echo would be a cracking idea. Agree 100% Old Vikings.
