Agree about Briscoe. Tony, however, should also have been retained to continue playing centre/stand off/hooker. I never understood this Briscoe v Tony debate. The equation should always have been Briscoe + Tony.



The biggest mistake was made by Sharp in trying to mould Tony into a fullback when we already had a specialist. Things went wrong for Motu then. Plus he'd have been valuable cover in those crucial positions where we are now weak.

What a load of rubbish. Briscoe would have made our attack even worse, he's a safe full back but an old fashioned one and wouldn't get in any of the top 5 (which seems to be the benchmark on here

). I wouldn't mind you arguging that he was a loss but to say it's the biggest mistake in the last 10 years is ridiculous.

Hey tbf though it took Hull 8 years of building in SL before they won silverware, we're only in our 4th season, the progress has been very good over those four years IMO.

If, say, St Helens win the Grand Final then they are Champions, not Wigan. Wigan won the League Leaders' Shield, not the League Winners' Shield.



We may have finished 6th in the table but six teams got farther than us in the competition therefore we are ranked 7th.

This is my point , again comparing what you have done with us. As I say it works both ways but neither team whilst doing this has or will have a dominant period.

I do not understand why does it not show on the league table then...also at the beginning of the season sky claimed Rovers finished 4th last season etc....I asked my hubby and the other coaches on the coach to our match today about this, they all said we finished 6th, one of the coaches is also an ex professional.
