Featherstone have been head and shoulders above anything in this league all season but our guys gave it their all and only finished up on the end of a 24-38 score line ( the most points Fev have conceded all season) , and indeed with 15 to go they had fought back to 24-26 and had the Rovers Boys seriously worried.
Josh Lynham and Charlie Eccleston were immense and Ben Sagar made a highly succesful come back after long term injury. Only downside was a nasty looking injury to Llywellyn Chapman who's ankle hit the post full on in the act of scoring and ended up on short trip to Airedale.
Yes great display and a score which flatters Fev. Puzzling decisions from the ref! Any more games for the second team? Let us hope we can hang on to our reserves next season.
