Bailey although a lot more defensively sound than our other centre options his attacking play is awful. If you watch the way Carmont creates room for his wing man then look at what Bailey does it’s a massive gulf in class. Roberts imo is suffering as well being outside Bailey and it’s effecting his confidence big time. Bailey released Roberts once last night and Roberts took the chance and finished excellently with him going in low at the corner which was a proper wingers finish.



Not only will a new centre give us another attacking option which we are desperate for but it will boost the confidence of Roberts who like him or dislike him is here to stay.



Tommy L could be a quality 9 and his best performances and the times we’ve looked at our most dangerous have been when he’s been scooting from DH. BUT imo he just isn’t a SH both his and Tomkins kicking was very poor last night and it cost us. The Hudds players made more yards in their kick returns because we almost kicked the ball to them and allowed them to move up fast. Also the switch back inside Tommy does must be one of the most useless moves in RL. Everyone can see what is gonna happen and it’s not like we’ve got the forwards to punch holes in the defence either.



We need a SH who can get us good field position, get our forwards moving and general the game like Edwards, Trent, Gregory & Lam used to do.



Everyone knows we need a $h!t house prop up front. It’s a must that the guy is a no nonsense leader 2. We just don’t have anyone to scare the opposition or get in their faces. Lets hope Mason will be available next season as we should move heaven and earth for him as he’s exactly what we need
