A game we want to win for obvious reasons. Apparently the weather up in that part of the world is said to be pretty bad, with heavy rain.
What is more, it is not much of a stadium with little cover so that will make watching fun.
I am looking for us to get back on the winning bandwagon and get a decent win here.

Maybe they should have asked Dave & Karl last week if they fancied turning out for us. A bit of extra size wouldn't hurt. 

I see that Hellec is back. I wondered where he was, but it is good to have him back.

Bit of a milestone as the squad features players numbered 1-13!  again, it looks strong, but i said that last week.  Bench does look a bit light, however, but I guess Porter gets his debut to give Davies a rest.

Hellec was at both Ebbsfleet games 
He was on the return trains and in the Costa over the road from the ground wearing his Broncos clobber.

I believe he's been recovering from a hamstring injury.

Hard to know where he fits in the team with Smith and Tindall.  Utility off the bench maybe. 

Playing him off the bench would make sense, being that he has been out for some time.

Sounds like really strong performance. A few too many penalties conceded but Eagles in a bit of a 2 and 8. Porter came on and was lively. Usual suspects put in really strong performances. We’re definitely competitive now. Not sure where that leaves us for next year but good to see the side coming together now.

I suspect we will be in the same boat, dependent on the success or otherwise of Hetheringtons new ownership model. 

I think Tindal will get a gig of some sort up north & it's hard to see Polselli not getting offers from SL or top Championship clubs. Webster-Mansfield  & a couple of others too. I guess until we are in a position to offer 2/3 year contracts, we will always have a rebuilding job.


If they hadn't of been so abysmal against Donnie, finishing outside the bottom 4 was reasonable. Still think it could happen though as we build up our 2nd half head of steam. Just need to cut out the mistakes.
