Argh, just realized that Quins are playing this saturday against Hudds (call myself a fan...or a northern-exile, newly-converted, fan at least). Was wondering, what are my chances of being able to hang round in the bar and watch the Wires game after Quins? Do they shut up shop after an hour or so? Reckon they will put the sound on?

I'm sure they will show this game in the kings bar afterwards, they normally do show the superleague games in there, whether they have the sound on I don't know, you can always ask the bar staff.



And the bar stays open for a few hours after the game, should be long enough to watch the whole game

Yeah, had noticed that they did, but was worried about being turfed out by over zealous bar staff. Not sure about being there for Quins, they've lost every game I've been to see so far this season, apart from Hull and when they tonked my beloved Wires.

So apart from the ones they won they've lost

Its a bit out of my manor as you lot tend to say down here, but if we can convince the landlord that putting SL on the screens on a Fri and Sat (or Sun) if needs be gets a few regular rugby folk thro the door, then i would go in there quite a bit when am over here and not able to watch my sky on a Fri night

trying to convince any pub round Maidenhead area to put it on i s a nightmare

especially if Accrington Stanley are playing Didcot rovers in the kick ball is being played



Could be worse am always in the IOW over bank holiday, locals would rather watch ticker tape kickball scores comign over the tv with sound off than have the Challenge cup final on!!! wierdo's

I can confirm this will be on and I will be speaking with the landlady nearer the time regarding free grub at half time, I will be asking on here for an approx number of attendees to help her facilitate this. This availability is for all QuinsRL games on SKY, come along in your club jersey. Any other SKY games will be available but without the food. Just ask the landlord/landlady to put one of the three screens on for you and hence you can watch any RL game you request and you will be made very welcome.
