Alas, no. It was 6 tries all. It's was Briers' uncharacteristically woeful kicking in the 1st half that cost you the game. As much as I don't like the man, I always respect his kicking ability and that was a poor showing from him in that department yesterday.

three quaters of a season doesn't make you one of the big 4, stay there for a couple of years (this one first) and then you can make that claim.

Have to agree tbf. One good season doesn't make you a permanent top 4 club. This season certainly no one can argue that you are definitely a top 2 club never mind top 4. Your previous inconsistent seasons mean that, like a previous post, you are only guests in the 'top 4'.



Traditionally the top 4 of Leeds, Saints, Wigan and Bradford has certainly changed. No one can argue that Leeds and Saints are still in that bracket and Bradford have dropped out due to their woeful past couple of seasons. Wigan, despite being as inconsistent as yourselves over the past few years are still there due to the past successes at the club. Now you might think "Oh arrogant Wigan fan talking about the past", but taking a step back, you have to admit that past reputations are hard to shake off.



If Wire finish in the top 4 consistently for the next few years and make significant inroads in the playoffs then they will have taken Bradford's place in that traditional 'top 4' club. Under Tony Smith I personally don't think that that will be a problem.

I guess most of this irritating complaining is purely down to disappointment at not beating a weakened Leeds team. Well done to them and what a goal kicking show from Kevin Sinfield. We should try and sign him

If the players are fully committeed and the rugby is entertaining what have we got to complain about?

Wembley last year - semi-final again this year and looking like a top four finish - some people are never satisfied!

And I will say it again and again



until we have a top class goal kicker and are beating the likes of Wigan Saints and Leeds 50% of the time we wont win a GF no matter how exciting and entertaining we are



We have had a good season so far and we could still win the GF but not without beating the top teams which have regularly failed to do

well said we lost to saints, wigan, leeds X" all on goal kicking, if we had a pat richards we'd of beat them alll.



only hull kr have outplayed us this season...

some people on here it was a result what could've gone either way and sinfield won it for leeds. don't forget we did have carvell and myler out and them losses start to show against top teams (especially carvell)

Interesting to see Carvell, Myler and Clarke play in the academy game yet Carvell was fit enough to play a part in the Bradford game the week before. Hate to say it but our forwards looked like they were out of juice

I remember when we always used to beat Wigan in the league in 80's, that never did anything for us trophy wise...

Wigan only lost twice in the league 1987 and both times it was to Warrington....that didnt mean anything as they then went on to beat us in the JPS final and the premiership final of the same year.....and they won their first league title for 27 years



granted to win superleague we are going to have to beat at least one of saints Wigan or Leeds....but that will be in knock out rugby and we havent done too bad in that recently....
