It could have been we had been eyeing up much earlier Yates and we kept Drinky another season. Duffy looked to be out of the door after 2023, then after Burgess got the job, he insisted Dufty played even though Burgess was still in Aus…so that left us capped up with Vaughany and Musgrove.
I think we left him in limbo, then he took up a position at the Cowboys but in their feeder club.
For sure he hasn’t played this season for Cowboys anyhow. Not sure he offers a great deal more than Musgrove or Max Wood can though other than depth. I’d like him back, but is he worth a quota spot and would it be a significant improvement on Musgrove to unsettle the squad?
