| Quote RedDanjo="RedDanjo"I drive over the M60 Barton flyover every day. Yesterday I got stuck in a little traffic and ended up at a standstill with a view overlooking the stadium, it suddenly struck me that if you did not follow Salford or Sale you would not have a clue who played there. It then got me thinking about crowd levels and ideas to help improve attendance. One simple thing Salford could do is construct a massive bill board facing the flyover advertising who plays there, when the next fixture is and if there are any offers on? We could do the same on the main roundabout to and from the stadium as well.
Does anyone else have any other non-expensive ideas on how to improve attendance?'"
Again this all comes down to the stadium management company as they control what goes on there. I'm sure if Koukash would have aquired the stadium by now this could be done in no time.
Unfortunately thats not the case yet.

Sure the billboard idea has been mentioned before and it was said that the fact it is so close to the motorway that prevents a bigger than average billboard.
It's a big thing for me but every rugby league game in the country should have free entry for every 16yr old. They must come with an adult.
Said it before many times but Salford is now home too big immigrant communities and the club should be targeting these areas, give these communities the chance too develop sense of belonging to the local area and it's sports team.
For the clash of the Leeds game and the football game get the stadium to put some bigger screens in the fans bar and try to get people too stay after the game, might not bring new people in but stands a chance of keeping people from not attending too focus on the football.
Biggest idea would be too employee people who know what they are doing, received an email from Vickers yesterday and it was just terrible, does any fan actually feel like any idea they had and mentioned to the club would be embraced? I don't, tried it, got no where and now disillusioned to the prospect of doing so again.

Cheaper tickets and topless bar ladies. The Dirty Devils Bar - It's the future!! No seriously a sit down meal and match ticket for £25-£30 a head (Minimum 4 people), although the club will be constrained by the SMC's extortionate profit margins.

Great idea about the Under 16s getting in for free, my wife and daughter would attend every match if this was the case, which would mean one extra paying adult! Also agree with the immigrant community’s development side, integration and belonging would mean a lot to them and the city as a whole. The big screen idea in the fans bar would also be great as this would in my opinion attract the United/City fans who do not attend the football matches in person, suggesting they can maybe combine the two rather than just going to the pub would get more fans in. With regards to Vickers I do not know much about the guy but from what I have read on here and heard from others (which included him emailing out sensitive documents to season ticket holders by mistake) then we should get someone else in more vibrant, understanding, IT literate and harder working.

under 16 season tickets cant be that much. I know they are about £80 at Wigan in the south stand and with them you get a free away tickets as you do at every SL club. Thats great value if you go to home and away games.
Salfords prices cant be that much different.

| Yeah, £40 for all home games anywhere in ground and all away games. Struggling to think. Doesn't that work out 3 or 4 quid a home game. Would making it free make any difference?

It certainly is, and if you got a family ticket on the early bird offer, where you could pay over so many months at no extra cost it was even cheaper.
I got my lads 1 each and a spare 1 each to take a mate.

I used to email, and tweet ideas, and all was fine until I raised a criticism or 2 and although not blocked like some, Messrs Koukash, Vickers and by looks of it, the club have obviously muted me on Twitter due to the fact that even my most positive posts are ignored, including ones where praise is directed at all concerned......... Call me old fashioned, but it reeks of double standards that the club can raise a criticism but fans and sponsors cannot
