Awful that one, but that apart - great to see (hear) and if more fans at more clubs did it games would be a much better atmosphere.

But they are planning on ruining the South Stand atmosphere by adding the seats and raising the roof which will hinder the noise coming from the terrace.



I know it's all about money for the suits but a bit of common sense should have come into play when rebuilding the South Stand.

Give it a rest, it's a fantastic proposal. Those who want to stand and chant still have more than enough space to do it.

The roof being so much higher than it is now means it will not trap the sound as well which equates to a worse atmosphere due to worse acoustics.

I think what he's saying is that by shiftung the roof from right above where the atmosphere comes from in the SS, it will lose a lot of that contained atmosphere that you get with a close roof.

I long for the day Leeds Utd are successful again so they all march on together back to Elland Road.

That's the way modern stands are built now. Not built with sight obscuring pillars and are supported differently by those beams you see on the top/back of the roofs, hence why roofs are higher nowadays.



To have the roof stay at the same height as now you'd probably need to design in the same way with pillars inside the stand and I doubt they'd get approval for a stand design like that nowadays.

Why would they?

Leeds need to bin the brass band. It detracts from the atmosphere rather than adds to it. In fact I think instruments should be banned from all stadia. (Including Grand Final klaxons). The best songs, chants and noise is generated from clapping, shouting and singing.

Just re-watched the TV coverage and even as a Leeds fan I have to admit how irritating I found that non-stop, repetitive dirge.

I thought Eddie was never going to shut up about Leeds' injury crisis.

But only after Wigan Athletic give them permission to play on their pitch.

Apparently, they were also missing 3 players that played for them last year as well, don't know if anyone knows anything about that?

Was he going to have enough tees left? And what would happen if he ran out? Would he have to go ask someone in the crowd for one back? Would he go old school and dig up some dirt? Would the 2nd rate SL team have any of these new fangled "kicking tees" they could loan him? If they did, would he give those away too? And if he did give those away, would the SL team have enough?



So many unanswered questions.
