Yeah I'm not a fan of micks commentary. I think he forgets that those listening on the radio can't see whats going on. He's usually rambling on about something that happened in 1994, before deciding to tell the person listening thay we're 5 tackles in the set and made 40 metres.
Or let's say we've gone for a try, knocked on and the opposition have a 20 metres restart, instead of quickly explaining whats happened we get "gillls gone for the trrrryyyyyyy (crowd groans so we know it's probably not a try) . He's over the linnnnnnneeee. Has he got the ball dooooowwnnnnn. The referee has a loooookkkk. Ooooohhhh. He's saying he's knocked on.
By the time he's told us whats happening the opposition are nearly at the end of their set.
