The Northern Rail Cup is used by coaches of large squads to try and find the best combination of players before the league season starts. For Fax, games against Hunslet and Barrow, Blackpool and Lougbrough Uni were these games to be used for rotation, especially at half back where we have many options.



Players have to accept changes have to be made with such a competitive squad and if Moore can't handle being told he won't play one week in which the opposition (Barrow in this case) were hell bent on taking our half-back's heads off then he is better out than in. Coupled with reports he couldn't handle discipline then he does need to learn his craft in the reserve grade, as talented a player he obviously is.

He's on loan from one of the strictest clubs around and you come up with that!

Quite, "discipline" is not a word I have heard associated with Callands tenure at Fax...

It's not just about 30 minutes on a match day, it's about what happens in training. Fax had two pre-season camps, so he should have been settled and had plenty of opportunity to show what he can do. I know a couple of Fax lads, and they reckon he was struggling with training. Apparently when a move they were working on kept breaking down he admitted to not reading his play book. Thinks its a shame, its still very early in the season. If he had knuckled down and shown he was worth selecting could have been much different. Stepping up from academy to first team, even at national league, is difficult and perhaps his expectations were too high cos he came from a glamour club. Nobody can command a place a team without putting the effort in.

Poppa have you been drinking ? I am sure considering that he has been at Leeds for 7 years, he has been programmed like a robot in every known move or play there is, I am sure he would not have an issues on that score being a pivot, who make these plays match after match, week after week. get real.

and I doubt he would be learning anything he did not know under calland...apart from maybe how to sink 2 bottles of budweiser, one in each nostril, whilst eating a jar of jellied eels !

Or he just didn't have a good attitude to training, if you don't know the facts, keep the snide jibes out. If you think Fax is the only club with a drinking culture then you are seriously naive.

Listen. If you come on another teams board and criticise one of their players, claiming to know the facts about the situation, dont start whining when you get your nose bloodied.
