It seems that some peoples opinons on the game are akin to "he must be good, he scores tries"

he doesn't put in the graft either though

thats only my opinion but also my point tad. we all see the game different thats what makes the debate.

each to there own but for me he doesn't do it.

My coments (and Bloodbath's) were specifically in relation to last night's game where I thought he had a good game.



It seems some people will criticise because its' Bailey, regardless of what he actually does on the pitch. That's compelling evidence of fekkwittism.



Take me for example, I have often criticised Smith and Kirke. I have no hesitation in saying how well they played last night because they did. That's compelling evidence of my superiority of most on the fekkwitts on here.

i didn't think he was that good last night but that is to be expected after being out sice the GF.

however it's his form over the last few seasons that worries me.

i want to see him making metres, running over people,knocking ball carriers down.

kirke, peacock,jjb,ali,kylie,burgess all do these things. bailey rarely does

He's been average for years.

It was the usual Bailey performance in my view. The good mixed with the bad. It does seem that he needs to regain some bulk to match his achievements when he first got in the side where he never seemed to be pushed back, always required 2 or 3 opponents to bring him to ground or complete the tackle and always won us more penalties than he costed us.

But the coaching staff MUST see something in him at training and close up in games because we kept him arguably at the expense of Scruton and that would have been based on an all round assessment of their relative merits.

Re JJB, yes he did give away a daft penalty but what he has is pace to get him in the position where he could capitalise on the Wakefield howler from the kick off and he played the full 80 minutes I believe.

Cheap shot Bailey he is nothing but a bully! I have no time for idiots like him.

It's a universal trend.

I like having Ryan Bailey on the sheet. He brings an "edge" to the team.



Granted sometimes he oversteps the mark but he certainly does distract some of the opposition forwards.
